Semi-Retirement

For various reasons, my muse and I are going into semi-retirement. I am committed to do one item, and want to do something for decade_of_spike. Other than that, I may just be doing some drabbles if the prompt at open_on_sunday inspires me.

The bloom has gone from LJ, Fandom, and my disappointment in Season 8 Buffy have all added to this. It may just be that this is a bad year in all these area's, and I will leave the door open to come back. Just need a rest from all the negitive vibes.

I will continue with doing things behind the scenes. I am also as much of a Spike and James Marsters fan as ever. So will still have an interest in both of them.

I have looked at other challenge communities, but they have voting on the responses to prompts, and I really don't feel like getting involved in anything like that. Even for the pretty banners.

I am not moving into any other fandom, as I really feel every fandom has its bad vibes that have made me retreat. I shall still be here, and active behind the scenes. So if I am listed as doing something, I will still do it. Just taking a few steps back in the writing front, and reading as well. Mostly my reading will be at award sites, or general items. Especially with friends whose characterisations are roughly the same as mine.

So, I guess what I am saying is I will be writing less stories. My flist might not even notice that I am not feedbacking as much. Might remain much the same as usual.

I may post more RL stuff at my lj. Not sure yet. If I do, these will be friends locked.
