Nightmares and Spoilers
Woke up three times last night from three different nightmares. The only one I remember now was the first one, I woke up when a shark bit a man in two. Took a bit of time to get back to sleep after that. It was when I could look into his stomach that I just woke up with a start.
Anyway, Spike: Shadow Puppets comes out this week, depends on where you are in the world as to what day you get it. I was just doing a little thinking about the nature of the puppets in the comic.
The way I see it, Spike, Lorne and Betta George are all puppet versions of themselves, like Puppet!Angel was in Smile time.
Now the puppets made by the villains are not the real article, in the way the puppet versions of the characters are. For example, I do not see the Real Angelus knowing anything about fanfic, while the creators might do so, and give the puppet that knowledge. The same with Puppet Gunn. The real Gunn would never fight on the same side as Angelus. Therefore these puppets are orginal characters, with familar faces. Not true puppet versions of the real Angelus or Gunn, and Brian has said there will be others as well.
So it is my thought that the created puppets will not really be acting like the true characters. Not in the way that Puppet!Angel did in "Smile Time" anyway.
I hope I get a better sleep tonight!
