That report seems to be a fusion of a couple of recent items on James. Kristin on E-Online did a short two or three sentence report about there being word about James being in negotiations for a longer stint on SV as a regular. James has said as much in recent Q&A, that they were thinking of having him back on SV, maybe as a different character. And, as sexymermaid said, he didn't audition for Dresden because it was going to be filmed in TO. SV films in Vancouver which is only a 3 hour flight from LA so more do-able for him in terms of his family.
