Is there maybe a third person you can let in on the business, someone in RL who maybe knows how him too and knows how to handle him?

I'd just feel better, knowing you have someone in RL who can help you should things get ugly.

I'm still marveling at the fact that he continued after you called him on it. I mean that must have been a pretty embarrasing talk for him and nothing he'd want to repeat.

There is, yes, but that could be an uncomfortabel situation for us both. It is not a subject we would normally talk about. While the know I write fic, and slash at that, RL situations like this might not go over very well!
