I think
Dr Who, Thunderbirds
and
The Man From Uncle
were my earliest TV passions. I didn't write fic, because it never occurred to me, but as a very nearly teenager I lived my fantasies, talking to characters inside my head when I was alone (walking to and from school was particularly good for that) and developing a serious obsession with Ilya Kuriakin. I bought the
Lady Penelope
comic/magazine for a couple of years too.

Then I fell for Jon Finch in a short-lived TV show called
Counterstrike
. He was so gorgeous - and my homework diary had a picture of him, nicked from the Radio Times on the front.

Then I got involved in drama and went to university and didn't really have a TV for six or seven years. I loved
Blake's Seven
(especially Avon) but was never fannish in the same way. It wasn't really until
Buffy
that I got that hooked again.

ETA: This inspired me to make a post of my own too. Hope you don't mind!
