As posted by lj_maintenance, just passing on the following information!

"Time converter here. Find your city and watch what day it is since for those of us in the USA it's actually going to be on Tuesday night that the work wil occur.

Even though the window is going to be 2 hours in length, LiveJournal will not be down that entire time. Just be aware that *during* this 2 hour window, connectivity may be slow or timeout completely."

So that, for example, if you are in the UK it will be down on Wednesday at 5:00am!

Not good news for insomniacs and early risers if they want to check LJ

Won't be too bad for me. We are in Central time of the US. It will be 11pm Tuesday night for us. Glad they gave us a link this time even if it didn't have any cities in TX. I have a friend in Chicago who is in the same time zone so I could figure it out.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't pay much attention to LJ news. But at least they're letting us know to expect problems.

I'll be getting hit at 11pm Tuesday night so not a big thing. I'll be winding down to go to bed around then anyways.
