Sorry to hear that ATF wasn't your cup of tea. As for BTVS well I never brought it but I have read it through varies means (no I haven't downloaded it and can't be bothered to.)

Ever since the previews for it I got bad vibes and it really doesn't connect well with the show IMHO. Not the things that loved about it anyway.

No I kind of got unhappy with AfF after a bit. Still bought it, and going to read it in the end, but just as it comes out!

I think you made the right decision with Season Eight. I stopped buying it.
