Crowley received a commendation from Hell for his work on the Spanish Inquisition. He really just rode into town on his demonic steed, de rigueur for a demon, even if it made him uncomfortable, to find some good food and drink, in the middle of it all.

Watching what was going on, Crowley got drunk for a week. Human’s had such imagination in how to hurt each other. Demons would never come up with the tortures that humans did.

He took the commendation, but held his respect for the opinion that the real demons where in the minds of humans.
