Oh Dear!

Right my brain still wants to do this meta, even if my fingers are resisting typing it. Should I do a Meta on the psychology of an Elder Sibling, and if so, which one. Dean would be the most indepth as there is more data to go on.

I think Dean would be the best choice, Buffy is an elder sibling but still, not really. I think if you where to do it it would be an interesting read for me, i'm an only child and from what I've been able to gather we're very similar to older siblings.

Well Dean seems the most popular choice at present, and noone as outright told me not to do it, so it could happen in a couple of days!

I picked Dean because he spent more time with his brother. Both Buffy and Jack really didn't have that much time with their sibling. Buffy had fake memories and a few years with Dawn. Jack knew Gray when they were much younger and then spent many years dealing with guilt over what happened.

Yes, Dean is the best of the three to do it on, there is more information than with Buffy or Jack. I did think with my flist that Buffy might be the one picked in my poll, but the info on her is based on false memories the monks gave them so she would protect the key (Dawn)

I think the Buffy meta could potentially be more interesting because her position as the older sibling was a construct and there's a basis for comparison between her before and after reactions, and room for a comparison between all that and her place a protector. Dean's big brother dynamic is super interesting, but better addressed by the show itself (not to mention still being developed).

Perhaps the Buffy one would be interesting, but if data I still think that there is more to go on with Dean. I don't really mind, I have the seeds of ideas for all three of them.
