Writers of General Fic

From the comments to my last post, a gapping hole in the fandom has come to light. People who write Gen do not have a community to present their work, and get it out to the general public. I have been known to write gen fic myself, an know this is the case. If you write Spike then you can find places to post, the same with Angel, but the other characters are sadly unrepresented.
When I write gen fic I tend to do it because I want to explore an emotion, characteristic, or situation using different characters. I know you are saying well why not do it yourself. I am as committed to the fandom as I can get, and even the two communities I did start are very negleted because of this. I really cannot spare any more time to another community at all. But the readers and writers are crying out for this service. I would love somewhere to go to read gen fic. I love it.

shinodabear has started a post for interested parties as well. She is considering opening a community, and would be pleased for any help anyone would offer her, as a novice doing a community.
