Why Do I Do These Things To Myself!

I gave my presentation today at 6pm, but of course did not get back home until 9pm. Not a problem, but we are having an international comvention next weekend, which I will be involved in, but! I am going to allow people to stay in my two spare rooms....Now I have to spring clean the house big style, and do the laundry (Iron!) which I usually leave in there and just shut the door until I have time.

I shall just have to make time now.

I also got roped into helping clean the yard at one of our centers as well. I will just be making the teas and coffees as I can't do any heavy work because of my neck, but it does mean that tomorrow will be a no go for cleaning my house.

I will also be pimping our new community btvs_ats_q_a, which spikeshunny and I will be co mods on! This is not Meta! It is for fun question and answer threads and general BtVS and Ats topics. You know the type of thing, you want to know when Angel first got his soul, how long he was in hell, Xander had his road trip. Hopefully you go here and someone will know the answer! We are hopeing it will be fun as well as a resorce.

A Bit of the Irish!

I'm back :-)

Delighted I was able to wangle Angelus and Spike into a drabble at the cabana_club The prompt was Irish Rootbeer, so I just could not resist. It is only 100 words so I will just post it without a cut. No warnings needed.

The two men strode confidently towards the bar, dressed in late 19th century outfits. The taller man perused the specials list, with a smirk, he called to the barman.

"Boyo, over here! Two Irish rootbeers, now!" He demanded in an Irish accent.

"Angelus, look at the clothes these people are wearing. No decorum." The smaller figure stated looking round at the customers.

"Asking for our attentions, better not disappoint me boy." Angelus replied.

Lorne strode over, with Cordelia at his side.

"There will be no feeding at The Cabana Club, Angelus, William the Bloody. I'm aware of who you are." Lorne reprimanded

Everyone has probably seen his like about the changes to the use info page, and that lj is trying to be more like Myspace! I hate that idea! I am on Myspace and have stopped visiting, and definatly would not pay for it. This is the wrong way round.
