Mar. 11th, 2008 11:26 pmSomething I do not understand about the American Elections....why to you have to stand in a line for either Republican or Democrat votes and let everyone know what party you are voting for? I mean, Ok, there might be a few names, but paper comes in different sizes....you could vote without letting everyone know who for.
In Britain, you go in, get your name signed of as registered to vote, get the ballot paper with all the names for all the parties, go into a private booth, and vote. Then your ballot paper gets folded and put into the ballot box. No need for anyone to know what party you are voting for...hell if you want to vote for the monster raving loony party, feel free. I just do not understand why you have to stand in line and show what party you are voting for!
