Was supposed to see David today, but woke up with a headache, sore throat, runny nose and sneezing. I had a cup of coffee to see if I felt better, but no joy. Now I feel sick and have adnominal pains, so phoned David to cancel. Think I might just go back to bed. And no, it is not that time of the month, at least it better not be!

Drinking pomegraeat juice. One of the things they trout it on is helping to reduce prostate cancer. Well there is one I can cross off my worries, cos I don't have one! Just as well I like the taste anyway!

Which I put down to despite having Mutual Friends: 183 I suspect I am filtered out of quite a few peoples flist. I don't know why they don't just defriend either, maybe they think I am a delicate little flower who would get all up-set if they did. I also belong to 137 communites, which I leave more comments on than I receive, so no suprises there I guess!

Sorry spamming today, waiting for the painkillers to kick in so I might get some sleep from this damned headache, and I thought this question was interesting.

Livejournal is a way for me to meet people from around the world and keep in touch. I love reading the entries, and finding out what is happening. How what is happening effects my friends, and how they are coping. It is a way of touching the real issues which effect everyone, no matter where they live.

When I first joined LJ it was mostly to do with fandom. My friends where all writers I found when in archives. I tracked down their journals, and friended them. Now it is a way to keep in touch with friends I have met on-line, and has less to do with fandom. Yes most of my friends are in some way involved in fandom, but it is more than that I am interested in. It is the people now more than the fandom!

Knew I would do badly at this, the number of times I am scratching my head. My niece laughs at me cos I don't know what is going on. Sigh! Still Lorraine is in the same boat.

Your result for The Internet/SMS Literacy Test...

Trusty Typist

You scored 8/14 on the easy questions, 11/18 on the intermediate questions, and 4/18 on the hard questions. Overall, that's 23 out of 50!

Well, well... it looks like you did alright on the test! Some of the harder questions were lost on you, but I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to assume that it's because you don't like using the various bastardisations of the English language that are prevalent in SMS and online, and you only choose to use them when they're necessary (or very funny).

If you do use chat programs, there's a high chance you at least spell most of your words properly. When you're sending an SMS to your friends, you probably don't shorten the messages unless you need to - and if it costs a bit more to send a longer text message, so what? At least you can be understood.

Anyway, thanks for presumably using your abbreviations in moderation. It's a good place to sit!

Last of all, if you'd like to check out the answer key, go here.
