Official Annoucement

I hearby give up every claim of being Cool. I love The Shadows, and intend to listen to them until I fall asleep! Night everyone!

The only person who reassures me that they are fantasic is my Brother-in-law, and that they made great music.....Oh and my Dad, but not much of a help, as he was, offically, tone deaf. Both my Dad and Sister were tested for it, dispite what you might think, it is quite rare to be tone deaf after the tests!

Ok I am showing my age....then I don't listen to Cliff Richard, it that helps? Oh ok, the Young Ones.....and maybe The Day I Met Marie....hey I was at primary school at the time!

Vid and Colour Bar

I realised some of my younger friends might never have heard of The Shadows (pets you all), so found a vid. The performance is from 1964, and a little shaky. The Guy in the Glasses is Hank Marven (sp), and I have been in awe of his skills with a guitar since I was a child!

I also suggested to faith1912 I would like to see a colour bar of some of the supporting characters from Supernatural, and she made this wonderful colour bar

This and That

You know, with all these fandom friending Memes going round, I think what we really need is a friending Meme. A lot of us came onto Live Journal for fandom, but now have friends, and post about our life. Maybe, instead of looking for people that we have fandoms in common with, we should be looking for people we have more shared interests. Just a thought.

Now that I am petless, I am considering waiting to see if I get adopted by a cat. That is how we got all our cats when I was young. They seemed to find us. Even before I got Smudge I got adopted by a cat, it only stayed two days, but it is possible. Of course with all the gardens being fenced in now, it might not be as common as it used to be.

Ronnie was over today, and we watched Supernatural. "Born Under A Bad Sign" he loved it, but I am sure he will love the next one better. I adore the next one cos of the humour in it, "Tall Tales" is a favourite of mine.
