I feel a little sad to see more and more of our traditions, which I remember as a child, not continuing. Such as the painting of a boiled egg, then rolling it down a hill (to symbolise the rolling away of the stone from the cave). We did that in the 60's, now Easter seems to be all about chocolate eggs, and getting money from relatives. I would never have expected money, or even a card when I was young. In fact I didn't really get chocolate eggs either, as they were just too much, and I didn't like them.

Seems each and every one of our old traditions are dying away every year.
