Buffy Season Eight Rant!

lady_windermereI think everyone knows about this reveal from the first comic, but behind a cut. Really cos quite a few will be uninterested.
Ok so we have had Giant Dawn since the first issue, and has continued. I hate it, but well they did it. Now Buffy and co have gone to Japan...See what pathetic story line with Dawn could come up?
If they do have "Giant Dawn Runs amock in Tokyo, a la Godzilla,, it will be so cool He He", that is it. I will cancel my subscriptions. If for that naff plot device they have thrown away all Dawn growth and emerging maturity to make her a whinging, emotional, hormonal teenager again, that will be the end.
To me, it will mean that Joss has abandoned characterisation and story just to have comic special effects and be "cool". Unfortunately, I do not think it is "cool", I think it is a waste of what happened during seasons 1-7 of the TV series. /rant
Oh well pleased to get that off my chest!
