I bit the bullet and asked
gillo for five questions, I have them under a cut, because one of the answers could be TMI. I did consider the answer, then, as you do not know the people involved, decided I could give an honest answer.
1. What is your happiest memory? I have many, I cannot pin which is the happiest. With my mom and dad it would be when my dad came home from working wherever he was based in the UK and we would all go out for a meal together.
With all my family, including Jean, Dick and Lorraine, when we went to Calderpack Zoo.
With Micheal, every time we went out for a drive in the country
At University, the time I spent with Chris, if only he hadn't been too young for me.
2. Where in the world would you most like to spend a holiday? Hawaiian Islands
3. What do you do when you really need to relax? Read or dream
4. How do you feel about your family? I love my family, what is left of them. It is just my relationship with Jean is complicated. Jean married very young. He husband was being send abroad, he was in the Parachute Regiment. She had me while they were based in Cyprus. After they came home, they split up, and my grandparents brought me up. My gran insisted on being called my mother, leaving Jean to be my sister.
Jean remarried, Dick and had a daughter, Lorraine. I get on great with Dick and Lorraine, while Jean and I try, but our relationship has always been strained.
I have not seen my birth father since I was six, and have no wish to see him either. I had a great childhood with my Mom, Dad, Gran and Uncle Jim.
Then as I live in Scotland, and the rest of the family live in England, we end up only seeing each other for a week a year. Which works fine!
5. What is the attraction of slash? No, srsly? The attraction of slash? I find female body parts a total turn off. I do not want to read about them. I know I could just scroll down, which is what I did when I read het, but still had to see some of it to know when to start reading again. To be honest, not everyone who writes Slash can make it hot, and I end up scrolling down again. But that happens less often than in does with Het. Femslash has me running for the hills
