This weeks episode? Kinda So-So, which is an improvement.
Criss Angel Is a Douche Bag Season 4 Episode 12
Ok so more Sam and Dean together moments eventually, but no feeling of closeness at all. They both still feel distant from each other, which seem to come through on this episode. AGAIN....where are my bother moments. Cannot see me watching these episodes again and again as I do in previous seasons. Where are the brothers from "A Very Supernatural Christmas". Ok OK Dean has been to Hell, and Sam, with Ruby's guidance has been doing who knows what yet, but still, apart from the hug when they first saw each other, the close relationship is just not there.
So mortality and growing old. Well if you don't die, which, yes they both have, but are back, you slow down. Other hunters who are older either get killed or are social outcasts. Apart from hunters who does Bobby really know?
Can I just say that, Ruby and Anna? Why would either of them bother with them. What do they have going for them? Neither of them seem particually attractive, nor are they good actresses. Anna, I am happy to say, was not there. But really could they not afford a half decent actress this year at all?
The actual story wasn't that interesting. Magic used to make someone immortal, others dying to achieve it. Not engaging. The hidden story of friends being so close they were like brothers, that was more interesting. The fact that in the end one ends up killing the other (ok so it saved Sam and Dean), doesn't bode well for the future.
So the question now seems to be that Sam is going something to tone up his ablities, and go after Lilith. Who it seems is doing really well in breaking the seals, if they Angels cannot stop her, what are Sam and Dean supposed to do? Why is Sam the key, and Ruby sure he is the only one who can stop her?
Did leave a few questions that still need answered, and I doubt that Dean would like the answers, I'm just not sure how interested I am in the answers myself.
