Another drabble for the prompt box!

There was no box you could fit Drusilla into. Yes she was a vampire, an evil vicious killer, full of bloodlust and with a passion for mayhem. Sultry, sexy and alluring.

Her second sight and thrall had her at an advantage, while her frail looks brought out the protective side of some, and made the more gullible think they could take advantage of her. It was an illusion.

Spike would always be protective towards his dark princess, her most gallant knight in all the land, and he loved it. They had the fairy tale romance, with a deadly killer edge

Drusilla looked up at the night sky, and shivered. Spike was there to put a reassuring arm round her, holding her close.

“I thought you liked the stars, they speak to you, princess”

“Yes, my Spike, they do. Such wonderful tales they tell.”

Drusilla turned in Spike’s embrace, facing him. A melancholy smile on her face. She reached out to touch the contours of his visage.

“The stars have such a bright light in the sky.”

She seemed remote, as she danced away from him.

“But the space around them is so vast. It makes me feel small and insignificant.”

More Spike and Drusilla from me!

The con was as old as the hills. The unfaithful “wife”, the outraged “husband” and the sap. They both knew how to play this game, had been for decades. Drusilla selected the victim. Looking like he really thought he was a sexual predator. Spike slipped away into the shadows to allow Dru to work her magic.

Drusilla soon lured him back to the lair, ready for Spike to arrive. Usually the target lost his money, or was blackmailed. This unlucky man was the prey of two vampires. The fall-guy this time not only lost his money, but also his life.

Well I did get a tiny bit inspired by the prompt after all.

Race Against Time

Spike paced the Factory floor. Drusilla had been becoming weaker with every passing day. He just had to find a way to restore her strength. The other vampires were watching her, he know only his protection would save her. Vampires really did observe survival of the fittest, but he was a Master vampire, and the slayer of Slayers. His reputation would protect Drusilla.

He was at present terrorising Dalton, the bookish vampire was his main hope. They had the books, now if only he could get Dalton to translate the text, they would find a way to restore his Princess.

Did a drabble tonight for

open_on_sunday's prompt hunt. Feeling quite pleased with myself, finally produced something. And even have a couple of ideas for the world without Conner seasons 3-5, or world with Dawn, Seasons 1-4. Will write them both down, as see what the muse runs with. It is for the fictathon at

writerconuk and Fang Fetish challenge. But still have time to play.

Anyway on to the 100 word drabble. PG 13 as nothing graphic.

Just as I complain that I am so uninspired, I do get something the next day. Guess the muse doesn't like it if I have anything to drink. Oh Well, I am on the waggon to please my muse.
