I am so looking forward to Touchwood, but it will be Wednesday before I see it at 9pm on BBC2, it has a fantastic write up in the "Radio Times", and the sets, plus the actors look great! Dr Who with lots of sex appeal...maybe a bit of chemistry between Capt Jack Harkins and Into Jones? The actor Garth David-Lloyd says his character fancies Jack! While John Barrowman said "I think Captain Jack fancies everybody"....is that not an invite to do lots of slash?

I made my friend David a meal last night, which went down very well, but OMG was it heavy...David says he put on 1/2 stone overnight, but loved it. Nothing fancy just prawn cocktail to start, baked Gammon Stakes, fried egg (which he loves with gammon stake), roast vegatables, boiled potatoes and sticky toffee pudding. Maybe we will have put on a bit of weight after that. He did deserve a good meal after traveling to Hamilton to rescue me from the coach.

I am thinking of getting the book "Sex and Buffy" about the handling of sex on the series, does anyone else have it? Would you recommend it?

Oh I could use some help, soon! I want to do the fanged three for the 21st December, but cannot capture Darla interacting with Spike and Dursilla, I have a bit of an idea, but Darla mainly played opposite Angel(us) in the series. If anyone could help me with the three of them interacting post China, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Off to do some studing!

There's a book called "Sex and Buffy"? I didn't even know that. That might be an interesting read. I always felt that BtVS and AtS presented the audience with interesting views of masculinity and sexuality and gender roles.

It is called "Sex and the Slayer", also covers gender roles as well. I have sent away for it from Amazon, so I will give it a read when it arrives and do a bit of a review on it! Sounds good.

Maybe a bit of a delay in delivery, as it is coming from America, should be here in a couple of weeks (they said that before, and it arrived within days, just have to wait for it I guess).

I wanna see Torchwood! :( I don't even know if it's gonna air in the US. I certainly hope so. But it did take forever to get series 2 of Doctor Who . . . I could be waiting a while. But oh! the slashy potential of Jack. *squishes him* I'm hopeless. Even more so when I've already gotten spoilers for the entire first episode.

Oh I'm looking forward to watching that! *Grins* Heard about the Captain being one to swing both ways and being all pretty and that theres bound to be some potential slash and interesting scenes! Haven't seen the other guy but i'll be looking out for him too *grins*

Fell for Captain Jack when i saw him on Dr Who naked and facing the Ann Robinson robot! And when he kissed the doctor...can't wait for more of him. Like you, I'll have to wait for the BBC to air the series.

Just a though. The Captain and my Spike? Hmmm, maybe a time travel chapter to my fic would work and working Angel into a frenzy of jealously would be fun to write.

Like you, I've tried to write the Fanged Four, but dialogue between Darla and Spike doesn't come easy. Would love to read your stuff if you get inspiration and maybe it'll inspire me.

So far all I have to go on is what I read in the "Radio Times", but sounding good. Lots of spoilers on the go just now. It is a spin-off of Dr Who, but I am not sure if it is essentual to have seen the Doctor to follow it...
