lady_windermereOk feel really guilty, but I an posting from an email from a friend at Slashy_Friends, and have not asked permission. Just thought you would like to know, and be as excited as I am. Joss was at the Edinburgh Festival, why did I not know this! Ok maybe I should have made more of an effort to find out.
Anyway
So i'm sending this from my bro's comp since i'm in
edinburgh right now. Just literally got back from
seeing "Reel Life: Joss Whedon" at the edinburgh film
festival.
The first half was a lecture and interview with Joss
and the second half was a Q&A. As you can imagine the
rumour about the Spike movie was one of the topics
brought up.
Joss said that legally he'd can't either confirm or
deny that their will be a film, although he did say
that they were now in the process of putting togther a
writing team and making sure that the key people are
available and interested. So in other words, its in
the works but its still a long way off.
Since i heard this from the master himself and with my
own ears and not through the exagerations of message
boards I'd say its a pretty clear hit. The Spike movie
is a real possibility and provided everything goes
according to plan we should start to hear more in the
not so distant future.
I'll let you guys know everything about today when i
get back to london. I can't do it now, i have uber
amounts of work to do. (plus i'm still on a high from
the session.)

Excited, Joss said that. Ok seems to rule out that he will write it (what could be more important Joss, remember all the times JM went to your house to do the Shakespere plays you put on!)
