Give Up

I dont know what is playing up, but I couldn't get past friends skip 10, so I just check a couple of friends to see if they had posted anything, anyway after three attempts to even get onto post a reply, I did it. But I cannot take any more.....I am not the worlds most patient person.

Not sure what the problem is, MSN didn't come on when I first booted up, then Explorer just halted, but I guess it could be LJ as well. But I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! Going onto a couple of archives, and see if things improve, cos waiting to connect to anything on LJ is just driving me up the wall!

Anyway, I did make it out today. David had a sore toe, so didn't go for a walk, but went to the Tillie to wait for us. Ronnie and I went to the Secret or Walled Garden at Balloch Country Castle Park. They have renovated it, and it looks great. We had a wonder round the lovely flowers that are in bloom, and the shrubs, with all the different coloured foliage, then caught up with David.

The Chinese was great, but still reeling from being charged £2.50 for a pint of Fresh Orange Juice and Lemonade, glad we didn't have a strong drink, dread to think what that would cost!

You're not the only one, I nearly threw my laptop out of the window tonight, trying to post something! No image hosted by Weblog is showing... and it seems due to LJ, so I sent them a very relieving nasty feedback ;)

LJ has been wonky lately. Or perhaps it is a global strike by the internet (after it had grown brains and decided to finally show us how it has surpassed us in intelligence. . . ) You never know. I'm in a silly mood like that at the moment.

Funnily enough you probably wouldn't have been charged much more for a strong drink - I always find that the soft drinks are proportionally more expensive (especially orange juice for some reason!).

Yes, and sometimes the strong drink (say a half pint Stella), is cheaper than a soft drink (ginger beer and lime). Just seems so wrong!

The Scottish Parliment said they were going to have an enquiry into it, but nothings seems to have come of that!

Just might've been connection problems, but one of my friends gave me a link to a Lj_herald, where others were complaining about LJ too. Could've been both. cos the problems with MSN and Explorer would not be lj.

Still after a couple of glasses of wine, and a nice sleep everything seemed so much better.
