Coach Booked!

I have booked my coach to take me to my sisters and on to writerconuk's midi meet. I know leaving it till the last minute, but have been waiting for cheques I was due to arrive. Of course then I found out that because I am not traveling on a Friday, I got a massive concession (I also have a concessionary card as well), so it only cost £28.00 with insurance, feeling good now!

Just got to get in touch with the chap to look after the cat, and arrange with my friend to come and pick me and luggage up to go to the bus station on the 6th then when I come back on the 15th.

Sigh a great weight off my mind, all arranged. I should also be able to get to the hotel early as well, just need one of my family to take me.

I also arranged with the comic book shop to get the #5 Buffy Season 8 comic on my doorstep on time, so that is it, the items I promised for the raffle will all be there then.

I hope to get some nice bottles of wine while at my sisters as well for the Quiz, three I think for First, Second and Third places. Don't fancy taking them on the coach just in case.....Might even get some nice ones from my sister, as she has regular wine tasting nights, and I could maybe give her the money for some tasty, good wine rather than anything from the shops!

All looking good, if you are going to the Midi meet, I am so looking forward to seeing you! Hopefully with some nice bottles of wine that you might win!

When I screen with this layout it says 0comments until I reply to them, but I checked before replying, and it did say one comment. So just to be sure I deleted it.....better safe than sorry!

Oh the committee will have to be in the teams, just Hil's and I that will not. Without the committe there would be no teams!

Must go and organise ours. I reckon the 7 am boat to Liverpool, train to Crewe, then Derby, then Long Eaton, and we arrive about 2.30.

If we get to Long Eaton station by about 2 pm on the Sunday we can get the 7 pm boat back, and be home by about 10.30pm.

Sounding good, I might be arriving at about the same time, depends when I get a lift. I will be later leaving, cos of the AGM, but I guess not getting home till 10:30 is more than late enough.
