Xander crept uncomfortably into his sleeping bag, it was Christmas, and his usual ritual of camping outside was worse. Now he knew that the things that went bump in the night were real.
Xander heard the rustling outside and pulled the cover closer, that was when he heard Willow’s voice outside.
“Xander, you there?” Willow called.
Xander took a deep breath, then called. “Here Willow.”
Both Willow and Buffy entered the tent, Buffy with her slaying equipment.
“You don’t think we would let you sleep out here on your own do you?” Buffy asked.
Xander knew he had good friends.
Coming to Woodstock had been Dru’s idea. Spike had gone along for the fun of seeing so many humans doing a love and peace concert, and some of the bands were great. He was really looking forward to Jimi Hendrix.
They had set up a tent in the camp, and Dru had wandered off, probably to see what a flower child tasted like. She had complained of feeling hungry. Most of the people here were night owls, so the two of them should fit right in.
Spike went off to find some food. Drugged food had an effect on vampires.
