A little early but,it is the wonderful
hotspur18's birthday today, I wish you a fantastic year. I hope it is filled with love, friends and happiness!

I did do a short little drabble for you, was not sure if I would make it, but in under the wire. As we are both suffering from the demon bugs, so is someone from AI

Gunn came into Wes's office, coughing, and holding a man sized handkerchief to his nose, as he gave a mighty blow. Wes looked up at the big man, a sympathetic hand reached out.
"Here Gunn, let me help you." Wes guided Gunn to the chair opposite. Gunn was sweating, and felt hot to Wes's touch.
As Gunn reached the chair, he collapsed into it with a grateful sigh. Wes took one look at the ailing man.
"Right, I think I should take charge of you. You really shouldn't be out of bed. I am going to get you medication for that cold, and you are going to take it." Wes in charge was quite determined. Gunn was in no state to argue, with one look at Wes, Gunn left the office, on his way to the beds on the second floor.
Wes went and got Gunn a hot toddy, with a good dash of scotch, hot water and liberal amounts of sugar. Taking it up to Gunn, Wes sat on the bed.
"Well looks like you are out of action for the time being, so I'll leave you to get some sleep." Wes walked towards the door.
"Thanks Wes," Gunn spluttered at Wes's back.
"Just get better," Wes smiled.
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Date: 2007-07-06 03:12 am (UTC)Noticed the Dumbarton reference. I lived for about four years on Dumbarton Rd. when I was a child. Right across the street from Patterson's corner shop. I loved that old flat.
