Comic Vs TV what do you prefer?

I am beginning to wonder about the canon question myself. I acept they are Joss canon. Just not sure I will be using it as my canon. Well apart from the Spike Connor friendship. Will wait and see.

I put the cut code in the poll, and it just doesn't seem to have taken! *sigh*.....just have to hope it is ok for peoples friends list!

Joss has admitted that if he got the chance to make a Buffy movie he'd dump the comic canon. Therefore it's not canon at all.

Joss has 'admitted' that if he had to retcon some aspect of the comics' storyline to make a better film, he wouldn't hesitate to do so. That's hardly "dumping the comic canon"...

After all, he changed a few aspects of 'Firefly' in order to make 'Serenity' (how Simon rescued River, greater tension between the crew). Does that mean that all 14 episodes of Firefly are no longer canon?

But, I suspect if picking up a BtVS movie, he'd pick it up post-Chosen, Post-NFA not Post-Comic (primarily because it is the series that the general audience is familiar with), which is somewhat different than Firefly which was really wasn't post anything but the screen version.
