David has gone, we cut the hedge today, I did 2/3 he did 1/3 he guesses, but that was only fair, as it is my hedge. David did sweep up the trimmings and put it in the brown bin.

Talking about these colour cordinated recycle bins. I live on my own, I have a reasonablly small garden in comparison to my friends. Ronnie is about the same as me, but I still manage to over fill the brown and blue bin before they are collected, all by myself. How do people with large gardens cope, I know both my sisters and brother-in-law's cannot, and so have to try and decide what is best to put in the garden refuge bin, and what to put in the compost heap.

Oh well, shouldn't complain, at least where I am they still collect the rubbish bin every week. Where my sisters live, they are down to every fortnight!

Edit should say I did cook David a meal, and bought him another copy of 9 Songs. I don't know how often he watched the last one, it broke in half. I thought DVD's were not supposed to do that?

Good-night everyone, sweet dreams. *hugs*

I've never heard of DVDs breaking in half, nor CDs. I've had a few go bad from overplaying or whatever, but didn't know they *could* be broken.

Neither did I. I don't know what he did.

At least by you they collect garden waste, I have to bag it all and bring it to the recycling center. Truly a pain. Last week my trunk was stuffed with branches I'd pruned from my shrubs.

Oh I guess I shouldn't complain. Our men are pretty good, and don't complain about our heavy bins either, which they do elsewhere!

I call the eviromental health when we do a lot of garden work and they pick up the bags if we leave them in our garden, they only do it like twice a year though or you have to pay. That's around here though.

Haven't tried that. Might be an idea. Then I will have to phone them already, someone dumped some sort of steel wired THING in my garden, and I have it at the side of the house now. Need to get it up-lifted and taken away!

Try the eviro for that too, explain what happened I am sure they'll come get it for nothing. They do around here though we are a council estate.
