Three Drabbles for the
open_on_sunday prompt
Throughout history, nations had a symbol of their unity, a flag. They would fight with it waving, urging them on, they would claim territories with it, they would rally under it. It gave them strength, and something to believe in when under siege. Patriotic pride, and the vision of overcoming adversity held high.
Now, with the slayers activated, they were an army, fighting the darkness, Andrew decided they needed a flag for the young girls to find strength. Just what would the symbol be? He kind of fancied red, black and white. With a stake, sword and crossbow on it.
Angelus stalked the mansion of the man he had targeted. His contacts had flagged him as having the artifact that he had his eye on as a suitable present for Darla. He had indulged Drusilla on her birthday, as always, when Darla objected that she hadn’t been given anything. This was something a little special, it was said to allow the owner control over the hearts and minds of men.
The man was resisting Angelus’ most devious attempts to make him talk. With a devilish smirk, he hoped he would last out a little longer, that was Angelus’ own reward.
Giles spend his time re-building the Watchers Council, and tracking down as many of the girls Willow’s spell had activated into slayers. He took off his glasses, giving them a polish, giving his eyes a tired rub. There was to much to do to reassert the council, recruitment drives, training. Indeed they had pushed to bring members back from all over the world to add their input.
Many of the retired watchers had come back as well. Giles felt himself flagging, they were no longer young, while the girls were strong, and for the most part, teenagers. A difficult age!

Probably his best idea. And I could actually see that happening in canon too. It’s so like him!
I loved the second one. Angelus hunting to bring a present for his Sire. Perfect. And so dark too!
And I feel like hugging Giles… so many responsibilities…
*kisses you* xxx
