Happy Birthday
Feb. 3rd, 2006 12:06 amA happy birthday to a wonderful writer, who is so encouraging to others as well! A warm and comforting person
And just cos I can
Spike stroked the box. He was sure that he had found the perfect present, at an Old World Shop, downtown. It specialised in Irish goods. After he found the present he had started to worry that Angel might not like the present. His departure from home had not been the most pleasant memory for the souled one now, but were the Irish not supposed to be proud of their heritage. Ex-pats and all that.
He put the beautifully wrapped present on the table, next to the pigs blood and glass of wine, as he waited for Angel to arrive, nervously bitting his fingernail. Shrugging he decided that he had tried. His past experiences telling him that was not always enough.
Angel came through the door, and scented the blood. He moved over to the table lifting the mug and drinking some. Then lifted the wine and took a good sniff. "My favourite," he smiled.
Spike moved towards him, lifting the present and handing it to him, as he moved away.
Angel opened the present to find a 17th century framed picture of Ireland. He pulled Spike towards him, and give him a deep and passionate kiss. "I love it," was all he said.
Well short and I hope sweet. Sorry it should have been hot!
