I got the two IDW comics yesterday. Spike: Lost and Found and the Angel Spotlight Illyria. Both good, I especially liked "Lost and Found" because it had a lot of Angel and Spike interaction. Angel's drawings were among the best I have seen for him. A lot better than "Old Friends" (can't comment on "The Curse", as I never read it. Never liked Nina.)

Angel Spotlight Illyria was great as well. I have still to see a good depiction of Wesley tho'. I would recommend them.

I got "Hole in the World" cheap. Great to read the dialog with Angel and Spike as usual, but they spell Lorne as Lome a couple of times. I don't think I would have bought it if I had not got it for 99p, still better to watch the episode.

I also did an anti-spy, as my computer was running so slowly, and found a couple. Guess that explains it. Hopefully that will mean that my computer will be back up to speed, and I will not have the problems I was having getting onto sites. Especially Myspace. I have not been on Myspace for over a week because of it.

Hope everyone has a wonderful lazy sunday.

I just got the Lost & Found comic aswell! Though I just got mine today so I haven't read it yet. It's funny because in the Spike one-shots the graphics are always good because you can see that all the artist is really doing is taking screencaps from the shows or promotional photos of the actors and just copying them exactly.
I am sadly far more of a comic geek, as much as I try to deny it. Today I bought Lost & Found, Astonishing X-Men #14 (I hate Marvel but Joss's writing in this is amazing), Fables #1, Sandman the Endless, and Transmetropolitin #7. I don't want to be a comic book geek...but it's so hard

Welcome *Rolls out Red Carpet, and makes a cup of coffee, with cookies* good to hear from you!

Yes The Spike one shots are really good. I'm also enjoying Spike vs Dracula. When I was young I was a total comic book geek. Superman, Batman Teen Titians (when it was Robin, Kid Flash, Aquaboy and Wonder Girl). Those were the days. I loved The Hawk and the Dove, but it didn't last long. My dad threw them all out when I was eight (Sob).

It is great to start reading them again, may try the X-men, even if it is Marvel, just to read Joss's writing.

You should definitely read Joss's X-Men. I'm not a big superhero comic fan but he made me like it. It's so funny and real and...Joss-like

It always cheers me up to get a bargin! I got it off ebay, but bargins are getting harder to come across there.

Hope you are enjoying the spring weather? We seem to have an early summer, which is always a joy. People are not walking round with their faces tripping them just now. Nice big smiles and bright clothes.

I've been thinking about ordering at least the Lost nd Found comic but I don't know if IDW ships to Sweden and since I haven't ordered any comics before I'm a little un-ease with the whole thing. I have a hard time trusting internet companies.

Yes and IDW are a bit slow in putting their new releases on their website. The p&p from the USA seems quite expensive as well. I have been getting on quite well at ebay. Could you maybe try there?

Hmm...I hadn't actually thought about ebay. But why not give it a try.

I have even found a couple of bargins, but not often. The comics are retail price, and very prompt. Usually you can even get to pick which artist you fancy as well.

Just give it a day or so. The American ones seem to be dearer for some reason, and they come on the market first.
