So after having spend a lot of this week in front of the computer and on the phone, I'm a bit behind in getting ready to go away, sigh. As usual everything is at the last minute. Of course not helped by the fact that David wanted to go out with me twice in one week. And getting rid of him is getting like trying to pull a limpet from a rock.

It occurs to me that, being in the BtVS and AtS fandom, I have such double standards when it comes to vampires and humans. That being said, I will be quite pleased to get away from the latest fandom wank. Also being British, I can see a 16 year old being sexually active. I am also not blind to the fact that some teenagers even younger than that do have sex. Which has nothing to do with what is going on in fandoms, fic or art. Considering how much time fandom takes, they are probably too busy with the fandom to get involved.

Well I am looking forward to meeting people at writerconuk's midi-meet this coming weekend. I'm so sure we will have a lot of fun, even if we fall exhausted into bed on the Sunday night after all the activities. I just wonder if I will have enough room for clothes with the items I am packing.

That being said, I am a little disappointed with the fact that my comics have not arrived. Unsure if that was the postal strike, or the theft of mail in Kent, where my comic book supplier is. Looks like I will only have "The Long Way Home" for the raffle now.

I may not be able to keep on top of my flist for the next few days, well from the 6th to the 15th (or should I say 16th, David is picking me up from the station, see aforementioned limpet status). So this might be me saying a fond bye for a while. Lots of *hugs*, *love* and kisses to flist until I get back
