So the debate about the "Open Source Boob Project" is still going. I have to admit, that I think the main point here is Boob, the whole idea is just silly. Then, I have a small chest, have never been sensitive in that area, and think of men who are fixated on them as immature mommies boys who still crave breast feeding like babies, and have no interest in them at all.
Maybe because my breasts are lacking any sensitivity, for me, they are a source of nutrition for a baby. The primary function to breast feed, and are not sexual. So I do think of men with a breast fixation as tits. I have sympathised with my friends with large breasts when men do not talk to them, but their breasts. I supported my friend when she had to get a chest reduction operation because of chronic back pain. I guess I could say that I would wear the red button, and walk round quite sure that no-one would want to touch mine, cos, as I said, small! I don't usually get the men who are looking for breasts (I get the leg men, and not because I have legs up to my armpits either. I am just in proportion, I think). But yes, I am lucky, when men talk to me, they talk to my face.
Having said that, I am not happy with the outraged response of "Kicking them in the Balls", I think that is a bit over the top, and puts women who say it (cos, to be honest, at a convention where they are outnumbered by men, I doubt they would), in the wrong. I would stand up for myself, and give a verbal whipping, and slap the hand of any man who tried it with me, and if I saw a woman in trouble, would be inclined to do something about it, I wouldn't stoop to violence. I guess, the whole thing is getting too much publicity for my liking, and what happened at one convention has gotten to the ears of people who go to conventions, and made them aware of it. So now it is all, outrage, or "I'm all for it".
I guess conventions, especially one's where you dress up as someone else, and play a part, may mean you do things you wouldn't do at home. With a bar as well, yes, acting out of character may happen. That people then make blog posts and post pictures about what happens at conventions later is forgotten.
