I think I will have to hand in my "Joss Fan" badge. I'm not enjoying the Season Eight comic, I am totally bored with all the hype at Whedonesque for "Dollhouse", and was never that big a "Firefly" fan. Which kind of leaves me with Angel: After the Fall, my Angel constantly watched box set, and my love of Spike. Of course I still love James Marsters to bits, and isn't he looking good :-)

None of which is inspiring me to write anything in the verse, and what ideas I do get Supernatural has made itself known. Still trying to get my crossover down in words. I suspect I might have to go back to the old fashioned way of writing it down on paper first, before typing it up, so I can play with it a bit.

So related to this I am not surprised my friends List isn't growing, and I may indeed be getting defriended. Cos well, not writing, don't do manips, icons or banners, and in a flux as far as fandoms go.

I mean I watch Dr Who, Supernatural and Torchwood, but don't really post about them. Not even any halfway decent reviews (my bad). Or join any forums, communities etc for fear of spoilers. I even stopped buying the "Radio Times". While I have plot bunnies for Supernatural, I have zero for Dr Who or Torchwood. Anyway I doubt the majority of my friends would be interested in them *sigh*

Goes back to read Angel: After the Fall, while considering whither to squander money on the #1 Directors Cut edition.....after all I am not buying the Supernatural comic, after how bad the "Origins" one was!

ETA I keep getting errors when I try to get my e-mails. I can blame Virgin Media this time!

ETA #2 Ordered After the Fall #1 Director's Cut.....Comic Book Guy says it is stunning!

James is happy to announce that he will be starring in the forthcoming ITV/History Channel/ProSieben movie "Moonshot."

"Moonshot" is a dramatization of the days leading up to the Apollo 11 launch to the moon. James will portray American astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

"Moonshot" is expected to air in 2009 but no specific date is yet scheduled.

James Marsters annoucement bout staring in "Moonshot" has brought back memories for me. I was eight (James would be about 5), and my mom was looking after my Gran. It was just my dad and me, as it usually was when my Dad was at home (he was working at grangemouth, and stayed at home during the course of that job. Usually we only saw him on weekend in four as he worked away from home as an engineer around the whole of the UK. He was offered a VERY high paid job in Saudi Arabia, but, my mom didn't want to take me there, and he wouldn't go without us...anyway back to the story). It was my dad and me, late morning watching the first moon walk. We were both speechless as we saw humans on the moon, walking, just being there! It was amazing. Really watching a bit of progressive history.

My family, Mom, Dad, Uncles, Sister and Gran lived through history, WWII and in my Gran and uncles case WWI, my mom was a born at the end of WWI, to watch progressive history, something positive like someone walking on the moon Well I know my Dad was awed, so was I. I sat, with my head on my Dad's shoulder, watching a human walk on the moon. *sigh*

We had watched the progress to the moon. We held our breath at them coming back, would they make it, would these men survive. We didn't breath until they were safe.

Thank you for reminding me James. It was a great moment in history I lived through!
