I did some polls a couple of years ago, but my friends list has changed so much since then, I wonder if I should perhaps do it again. The people who comment are different, others have moved into different fandoms, and I have also friended a few people in the Supernatural fandom. I am considering friending some people in the Torchwood fandom as well, but not Doctor Who, I will stick to the friends I already have in that fandom.
Taking these things into consideration, I think I should redo the polls that would appeal to more than the Buffy!Verse, which a couple were very Buffy!Verse centric, such as the shipping one. I'm just not sure. The characterisation one would be multi-fandom, but wonder how many of you read fanfic anymore. Everywhere I look, comments seem to be dropping off for writers, even in the new fandoms. I know I am not reading as much new stories myself, and in the newer fandoms I have an interest in, have gone back to lurk mode mostly. I know I am not reading many multi-chaptered stories either. I feel I have wrapped myself up in older fanfic that I really love, and keep going back to. Like a security blanket.
