I am Spangel myself, but have been going off Angel for a while now because of Angel: AtF. So agreed!

I love reading Spangel as well. It's just in canon that I can't stand Angel. I am Spuffy mostly, but love slash as well. Have to say I was angry with Angel for his treatment of Spike in ATF. He was a jealous wanker about Spike returning and being a hero.
