*sympathises* Bugger. And those guys aren't real helpful when it comes to troubleshooting. I needed help with a hotmail problem and the FAQs didn't answer it, but there's nowhere you can go to ask a question, you can only leave feedback which they say they won't respond to. So I left them some choice feedback.
It is really frustrating, because they really don't fix things at all. Once you have a problem it takes a while to sort out. I almost feel like telling them to stuff it where the sun doesn't shine.
I haven't been able to talk to my friend in the US for ages now. She keeps telling me how much she misses me, but there is nothing I can do!
I guess, I just got so annoyed that them that I haven't done that.....liked my name on my old account donnaredmasters, it is the same as my Yahoo account and therefore easy to manage. I was also being spammed on my hotmail account. Could say I was totally unimpressed!
my hotmail goes in bursts. I haven't had any spam now for about three weeks, before that I was getting all those hilarious ones from the Nigerian banks telling me I was the sole beneficiary of some family and I was now rich, if I would just sign over my first born and my left kidney.
I'd like to change my primary email , but I've had it for 15yrs so I think I'll probably end up sticking with it. I have a couple of other accounts where I've changed the name by a number or a fullstop, those are just for signing up for things, so they get all spammy and it doesn't matter.
I do tend to stick to the one account. With how unimpressed I am with them, and the fact that I never use the hotmail address, apart from IM, it was never used!
not the viagra ones, but I liked reading the Nigerian ones, they were quite funny the way they tried to sound all official, but had the grammar all mixed up. I especially loved the ones that told me in a PS that there was no need to involve the police :D
