They've gotten better, though that's partly because I've given up on expecting them to follow the TV series and just take them for what they are.
And at least when Allie interacts with fans, he does so from up in his office, so to speak; everybody, including himself, knows what his position is and he doesn't try to be too chummy. Whereas Lynch's tendency to fish for compliments and then get snippy when he doesn't get it annoys me a bit. (I liked Jeanty's recent comment, though: "When I first got the gig I couldn't understand why they wanted me." Truth will out.)
I'm not keen on any of them posting on boards or forums myself. That includes Lynch, who would comment when I made entries at angel6_atf. I was not posting there for anyone involved in the comic to read, I was under the impression I was talking to other fans.
It is also the reason I don't got to Whedonesque much either.
Don't think I would buy the comic again now. I was also sorely disappointed in After the Fall. Didn't like Lynch's characterisation of Angel, which was a major drawback!
Oh well, maybe these higher profile comics are not for me. I usually don't like movies that get hyped up either. I'm usually disappointed!
