Has Sam Changed Since Seasons One and Two

I want an option that says something like, "Sam came back different." Not wrong, per se...he's still Sam, but he's not really the same as the kid who was kidnapped from a diner at the beginning of the finale pair.

Yes he is different, even killing Jake was a big change for him. Which was almost as soon as he came back. It was the first indication of the direction he was going in.
